Aerial Photography for Farm in Dorset
Surveying and Photographing Farm and its Land from a Drone
I had an incredibly busy day yesterday starting with a business breakfast at 7am. I then drove to the beautiful Purbecks in Dorset for three more client meetings with what could potentially become large contracts with exciting shoots.
On the way home, the weather had really cleared and the temperature soared. So, striking whilst the iron was hot (and drone batteries charged), I called a job that I was meant to do the following day.
Luckily they were available so I rushed home, grabbed the drone and headed deep into the Dorset countryside. In the other direction heading for a large farm.
Safety checks. risk assessments...
The job was fairly simple but still needed all the relevant safety checks and risk assessments. Particularly as there was a lot of large, metallic structures around that can sometimes play havoc with the compass in the drone.
Anyway, the weather was superb and I got the job done in good time. Only to get home where less than an hour later the heavens opened and we had thunderstorms and torrential rain! The next day wasn’t much better so we did well to get the job done when a break in the weather occurred.
If you are looking for a qualified, licensed and insured drone pilot to photograph or video your farm, land, commercial promo video, property or event, please get in touch. I always have an eye on the weather reports to make the most of any “flying opportunities”.
I shoot up to 16mp stills and UHD 4K video including RAW if needed for larger scale productions.
