Being this close to the planes whilst filming was a rush!
This was a great commercial video shoot for JET2 Holidays. It is always fun shooting people in a happy environment and what better place than an airport right after lockdowns were lifted.
Having access to the runway for the final clip above was superb!
The Brief
-JET2-
Jet2.com is relaunching its flights and holiday programme this week following further restrictions easing. On Friday, we’re also launching Bristol Airport as our tenth UK base so all very exciting and a big milestone for the airline.
We would like you to capture a 30 second video featuring the excitement of customer’s being able to travel once again, boarding the plane as well as the plane taking off itself. This footage will be issued to broadcast media for hopeful inclusion on TV, as well as Online media contacts.
Hundreds of holidaymakers heading for sunny Spain with some literally jumping for joy as they prepared to board. Clearly the crew and staff were happy to be back at work too!
As shoots go, this commercial airline video job was a lot of fun and great to experience after lockdown.
