The Kings Arms in Portesham is a large, friendly, family run pub serving high quality food from a stunning menu. The Kings Arms also has three, 4 star rated rooms on site for guests wishing to stay a little longer.
Shot in 2013. Another great shoot finished as I visited the recently renovated Kings Arms Pub in Portesham. The new owners, Lee and Jo have completely renewed the pub creating a more luxurious and elegant environment for it’s locals and visitors alike.
They also offer some of the best pub food in Dorset with much of their produce sourced locally from various farms and suppliers:
All meals are cooked to order which may mean waiting a touch longer but as they say, it is worth it!
Pub Interior
The pub has a variety of 4 seating areas with no less than 3 real log fires keeping the place warm in the Winter months. One area inside struck me as the perfect area for relaxing with a pint, glass of wine or just a coffee. That was the comfy area at the back with a luxurious leather 3 piece suite. Perfect!
Pub Exterior
The Kings Arms is situated centrally in Portesham and has a beautiful, large garden with water features and views of the surrounding hills. In the summer months, or when the weather is favourable, they make use of the superb barbecue area.
My family and I can vouch that the food here is amazing.
