Property Shoot Portland Dorset

Charming, Traditional Cottage on Portland with Video

Property Photography in Dorset

Anyone looking to sell, rent or promote a property should look to have professional photographs taken. High resolution, well-taken images will, in the first instance get buyers to a viewing. Add a high quality video, including aerial video clips and your marketing efforts will soar!

I shot this lovely, traditional and very well decorated property in Portland yesterday (photos below). The sun shone, the owners were super friendly and the shoot went really well.

As part of the job, I always try to incorporate images of all the little details that really go a long way when kitting out a property for rent. I also supplied 18 high resolution stock images of the local area to help promote the property on the client’s website.

Whilst I was with the client, I showed them some video clips that I had shot in and around Weymouth.

The long and short of it is that I was asked to create a similar video that really showed Portland and Weymouth off. This was to entice people to visit this wonderful part of the world and of course, the property.

Using the brief from the client, along with some clips I had already taken, I set about shooting new footage. These would be from both the ground and from the air, to piece together a one minute promotional video.

After a few tweaks, the client was super happy and you can see the video below. This will take pride of place on the homepage of their new website.
